Licensed ESE Educator (SPED) – Amazing Opportunity!

We are currently hiring a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (LBS1 Certified) to support preschool-aged learners with diverse needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families, classroom assistants, therapists, and other educators to create a positive, developmentally appropriate learning space that supports growth in both academic and functional skills. You’ll lead the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), using data-informed strategies to promote independence, communication, and early social-emotional development.

Your classroom will be a safe and structured space where students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. Consistent progress monitoring, active participation in IEP meetings, and thoughtful adaptation of instructional methods will be key components of your day-to-day work. Strong classroom management and a compassionate, child-centered approach will help you build trust and foster confidence in each learner.

Applicants must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education. A degree in Special Education or a closely related field is required (Bachelor’s minimum, Master’s preferred). Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in early childhood development, behavioral support techniques, and a team-centered mindset. Previous experience in a preschool or early learning environment is advantageous but not required.
