School Psychologist – Immediate Interviewing!
Our Organization is actively seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the mental and emotional well-being of young learners within a vibrant elementary school setting.
In this role, you’ll be a key member of the student support team, working to reduce health-related barriers to academic success and promote full classroom participation. You’ll deliver school-based mental health services that help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and empower students to thrive both academically and personally.
Position Brief:
- Help students build self-awareness, resilience, and communication skills.
- Observe students in classrooms and school environments to gather critical data for intervention planning.
- Collaborate with staff and families to implement effective support strategies and improve student outcomes.
- Provide counseling and skills-based instruction to support students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.
This is a unique opportunity for a School Psychologist who values early intervention, teamwork, and creating environments where all students feel seen, supported, and empowered. NCSP credential preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, assessment, and collaborative skills.
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification or eligibility.
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
