Grounds Worker

GROUNDS WORKER

*** IMMEDIATE START ***

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Location: District-Wide

Starting salary: $18.75/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• NYS Driver's License required; Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• Graduation from high school or vocational school, or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
• One year experience in site maintenance work.

Typical work activities include, but not limited to:

• - cutting grass and weeds, raking leaves;
• Maintaining plants, shrubs and trees;
• Repair of concrete and blacktop surfaces;
• Caring for sidewalks and roadways during the winter season;
• Handling of supplies and equipment related to lawn care.
