Job Summary: As the Communication and Events Coordinator, Alumni and Parent Engagement, you will be responsible for managing the production of compelling communications and publications in various formats, planning and executing events, and providing administrative support to the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with staff to manage office and event communications across various platforms.
- Utilize basic design knowledge to create and maintain regular updates to the visual aspects and content for the office-specific and Regional Chapter webpages.
- Manage the communication schedule for the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure consistency and alignment in Advancement communications.
- Assist in preparing Class Notes for the CMC magazine.
- Coordinate communication and event details with coaches, staff, and alumni for CMS athletic events involving alumni.
- Provide administrative and staff support for events as assigned.
- Support the Assistant Directors with order fulfillment, inventory, and customer correspondence for the CMC Supply Shop.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with student employees and volunteers.
- A high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office software.
- Basic knowledge of Almabase.
- Ability to utilize software to create effective, attractive communications for various purposes.
- Exceptional professional writing, editing, and analytical skills.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Flexibility and ability to juggle competing priorities and support numerous initiatives.
- Excellent goal-oriented management skills.
