What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Specialist position at Clara Martin Center?
Access Specialist: (Bradford, VT) We have an opening for an Access Specialist who will provide immediate access to individuals, couples and families, and assist them in gaining access to mental health & substance use treatment and related services. The primary role is:
- to gather information from client and referral sources,
- schedule clinical assessments,
- provide supportive counseling and possibly some emergency services,
- provide case management and referrals to other services,
- coordinate with billing dept. and administrative staff on insurance and payment,
- complete medical record forms and documentation,
- navigate in multiple software systems to ensure communication and record clinical data elements.
This is a Bachelor level position working as a part of our centralized access team. Access Specialist interface with all other agency programs to assist clients in making strong connections to ongoing treatment.
