Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour accountability for patient care delivery
- Ensure quality nursing care is delivered to all patients on the assigned unit
- Develop and implement patient care standards, orientation, and continuing education
- Evaluate staff performance in accordance with organizational policies
- Participate in nursing quality assurance and promote quality of patient care through QA & PI findings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Perioperative services
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- Maintains current BEST training; obtains within 3 months of initial assignment
