About the Role:
The Assistant Director of Patient Care will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care delivery on their assigned unit. This includes developing and implementing patient care standards, evaluating staff performance, and participating in nursing quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of patient care standards, orientation, and continuing education
- Evaluate staff performance in accordance with organizational policies
- Participate in nursing quality assurance and promote quality of patient care through QA & PI findings
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Perioperative services
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- Maintains current BEST training; obtains within 3 months of initial assignment
