Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fremont, CA. The Senior Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing field service operations, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing technical support for CNC machinery. Additionally, this role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in Field Service and Preventive Maintenance, including the ability to perform machine installations and repairs.
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support with expertise in identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in CNC machinery.
- Proficiency in Customer Service, including effective communication and client relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of CNC machine tools and their components is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered.
