Position Overview
We're seeking a bilingual Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for our customers. This role is critical in establishing trust, gathering essential claim information, and setting clients up for success in their claims process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations with accident victims in English and Spanish
- Gather and document detailed information about accidents, vehicle damage, and insurance coverage
- Explain Claims Concierge services, and process clearly and professionally
- Obtain necessary client authorizations
- Enter case information accurately into our case management system
- Coordinate with partners regarding new referrals
- Screen cases to determine eligibility for our services
- Respond to inbound inquiries from potential clients and referral partners
- Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain communication throughout the intake process
- Identify urgent client needs and escalate appropriately to the claims team
Required Qualifications
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) - MANDATORY
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Professional phone manner and customer service orientation
- Ability to build rapport quickly with clients who may be stressed or frustrated
- Basic understanding of insurance processes (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Proficient with Google Workspace, CRM systems, and standard office software
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in insurance, legal intake, customer service, or call center environment
- Familiarity with Georgia auto insurance requirements
- Experience working with accident victims or vulnerable populations
- Understanding of property damage claims
