Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution across various landscapes
- Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with precision and care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively during installation and maintenance projects
- Conduct landscape inspections to identify issues and implement timely repairs or adjustments
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape enhancements or new installations
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with horticultural equipment and construction tools
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation components and landscape equipment
- Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, planting, mulching, and edging
- Proficiency in using hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently
- Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators for large-scale landscaping or construction projects
