What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Press Brake Operator position at CLAD Industries?
CLAD Industries has an immediate opening for a press brake operator.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and operate a press brake machine following the Job Detail Packet and Blueprints.
- Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine.
- Inspect "first-piece", In-Process, and Last piece.
- Full working Knowledge of measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial calipers to ensure Quality products are produced according to job specifications.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Work with limited supervision and maintain a Quality work ethic. Function as a member of a Manufacturing team, whose goal is to ensure that product Quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.
- Hold oneself and others accountable for meeting schedule requirements.
- Maintain adequate levels of performance and motivation despite job tasks that are routine, repetitive, and/or non-stimulating.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives.
- Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to scheduled dates and the ability to be flexible.
- Thorough operational knowledge and skills of press brake equipment to be operated, including inspection equipment.
- Ability to operate Amada Press Brakes safely and efficiently.
- Ability to keep record of time spent and material used.
- Ability to read drawings and prints, and be familiar with common machine tools.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- 2 years of experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
