CKC Laboratories, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified person to work as an EMC / EMI Test Engineer in our Fremont (Bay Area) test facility. Our EMC Test Engineers provide test set-up and make RF measurements on cutting edge technology from a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate EMC/EMI testing facility for both emissions and immunity.
- Read and understand requirements for the testing to be performed.
- Conduct military standard and/or commercial emissions and immunity testing per the applicable requirements.
- Accurately document testing results.
- Create test plans to various standards and custom requirements.
- Confirm the calibration status of all internal test equipment. Perform calibration of equipment.
- Develop and validate test methods to support unique customer requirements.
- Understand and take action based on changes to test standards.
- Troubleshoot test failures to determine causes.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal.
- Responsible for equipment, lab maintenance and document organization.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety.
