Key Responsibilities
- Patrols: Walk through the hotel inside and outside, checking doors, parking lots, and public areas to spot safety risks, theft, or damage.
- Emergencies: Handle urgent events like medical calls, fires, or security threats while staying calm and helping guests or workers.
- Monitoring: Watch security cameras and alarm panels to control building access and spot unusual activity.
- Reporting: Write clear, accurate incident reports and daily logs about safety issues or rule breaking.
- Guest Service: Answer guest questions and help solve problems in a friendly, polite way.
What You Bring
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort operating CCTV/camera systems and gate control equipment.
- Ease with phones, computers, and basic reporting software or forms.
- Solid written communication for clear, accurate reporting.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior security or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid security guard license/certification, if required by your jurisdiction.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
