Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicle exteriors using professional wash techniques, ensuring spotless results.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers and polishing equipment to restore shine and remove imperfections.
- Detail vehicle interiors meticulously, including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, dashboard polishing, and window tinting as needed.
- Utilize cleaning equipment efficiently to maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and appearance.
- Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper handling of heavy lifting tasks and use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the auto detailing facility to ensure a safe, efficient workspace.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility operations with a strong understanding of vehicle care processes.
- Skilled in vehicle exterior washing, interior cleaning, buffing, and paint correction techniques.
- Knowledge of automotive buffers, polishing compounds, cleaning equipment, and janitorial/custodial practices.
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting procedures and the safe use of automotive buffing tools.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle’s condition.
- Prior experience with window tinting or other cosmetic enhancements is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on vehicle quality standards and cleanliness maintenance.
