CK Power is looking for a Quality Control-Inspector at our St. Louis, MO location.
What You’ll Do:
- Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality database; develop and analyze trend data for various phases of production.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs when needed.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Update your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Supports QC Test Technicians with testing documentation.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of relevant experience with hands-on quality assurance inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze information, and document and report research results.
- Desire to promote process improvement, safety and process management, manufacturing methods and procedures, innovation, and research.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools.
- Computer-literate and functional ability in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete inspection documentation and reports.
- A good attitude; strong team player.
- Good attendance.
Pay starting at $20.00/hour.
