Construction Project Manager

CK Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high-end new builds and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is a very experienced individual who can lead field production efficiently while dealing in a professional manner with high-end clientele. We need a proactive team leader to own this position. This position will ensure projects are run efficiently, and within budget, while keeping our standard of building high-quality homes.

The Project manager will provide project planning, resource, and time management, create benchmarks for labor resources, and maintain the budget and scope of work for multiple projects. You may be running several projects at one time. This position will ensure that all of the work is done on time and within the projected budget. They also need to ensure that the construction project is compliant with current building codes.

Responsibilities

:

• Pre-construction setup Coordinate the transfer of sales information from the salesperson
• Attend the Trade Walkthroughs
  during the estimating phase.

• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.

• Contract and Budget Management

• Coordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, and engineers.

• Coordinate with suppliers, ordering construction materials as needed.

• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.

• Ensure all site policies are adhered to, especially safety and cleanliness standards.

• Act as a liaison between the customer and the company

• Enforce job site safety

• Manage and report job cost overages

• Manage project completion, delivery, and acceptance of the project in accordance with
  the
  contract and specifications

Skills:

• Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floor plans.

• Must possess deep expertise in standard construction practices.

• Proven ability to deliver the project on time and on budget.

• Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.

• Deep knowledge of industry safety practices.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, a plus

• 5 to 7 years of experience in project management within construction for a custom home builder.

• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles

• Strong leadership and time management skills

• Professionalism in manner and attire.

Compensation:

• Full Time

• $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience
