Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Senior Project Manager specialized in Commercial Construction to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and data center projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating construction schedule activities across teams.
• Manage project budgets meticulously through cost management strategies, including construction estimating and HeavyBid tools, to optimize resource allocation.
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, blueprints reading, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design intent.
• Supervise project teams on-site and off-site, managing subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff to foster collaboration and productivity.
• Ensure strict adherence to construction regulations and safety standards by implementing rigorous compliance protocols throughout all project phases.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Primavera P6 for project tracking, documentation control, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate clear communication and smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress regularly through detailed project scheduling and status updates; address issues proactively to minimize delays.
• Manage contracts and procurement processes ensuring all contractual obligations are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects with a strong focus on infrastructure development.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office suite for planning and reporting purposes.
• Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, cost management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with construction site supervision including blueprint reading, construction plans review, and site safety protocols.
• Strong leadership skills in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment; excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with civil engineering software like Civil 3D is a plus for coordinating civil works components.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and time management discipline.
• Knowledge of construction regulations governing commercial projects across different jurisdictions; commitment to safety standards.
