POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE:Program Coordinator DEPARTMENT:SAFE (Success Always Follows Education) - Waterbury SUPERVISED BY:Director of Community Programs POSITION SUPERVISED:Facilitator / Culinary Instructor / Teacher / Rec/Social SkillsGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The SAFE Program Coordinator is responsible for providing direct, on-site and weekly supervision of all staff members. This position oversees the development and implementation of all program components and services. The Program Coordinator serves as a liaison with schools, government agencies, colleges, universities, and other organizations involved with the program.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field2 years of experience working with at-risk youthPersonal Effectiveness/CredibilityCommunication ProficiencyCollaboration SkillsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
