Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process food service customer orders, retail sales transactions, and cash register operations
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards and food safety regulations are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Support food handling procedures, including serving, bussing tables, and sanitation practices to promote a safe dining environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely during food preparation and assist with basic culinary tasks when required
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, providing excellent service to ensure satisfaction from start to finish
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quick service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or grocery store operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters positive guest interactions
