Position Overview : CJ Entertainment & Media is looking for a driven, hands-on and results focused sales professional – our next Director of Sponsorship Sales to drive revenue and achieve departmental and corporate goals. This role is responsible for securing sponsorships for live music festivals and broadcasts, building and maintaining relationships with potential sponsors, and developing and executing sponsorship sales strategies. Candidate must be professionally bilingual in Korean.

Responsibilities :
- Grow the sales pipeline with targeted clients and identify opportunities to upsell.
- Actively expand CJ ENM’s network of existing and new clients.
- Work effectively with internal teams, including marketing, operations, music division, legal, finance, and event production to ensure successful sponsorship execution (both in the U.S. and Korea/HQ).
- Prepare custom proposals based on brand partners’ key objectives and KPIs.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to potential sponsors, negotiate sponsorship terms, and close deals.
- Manage contract negotiations for new and existing clients.
- Manage sales pipeline with accurate reporting and tracking.
- Manage existing sponsorships, ensuring successful execution of promised deliverables.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Handle/manage other projects/tasks, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field
- 5 - 10 years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand marketing or directly related experience preferably in the live music industry or entertainment sector
- Digital sponsorships and social media marketing experience on all platforms
- Analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail of projects and operational process
- Superb organization and project management
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation skills, sales experience, knowledge of marketing principles, and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Bilingual in Korean / English is a must
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
