CJ Designs is currently looking for a House Manager for a small group home in Linville, VA
Lead DSP / House Manager Responsibilities :
- Facilitating and over-seeing day to day operations of the group home
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Supervise DSP's and leaders for daily responsibilities, trainings and help with performance reviews.
- Scheduling for DSPs and appointments
- Must work an average of 3 shifts per week
- On call every other weekend
- Responsible for ordering medications and oversight of medication procedures.
- Works with other members of the health care team, family members and administration for meetings, concerns, and ways to improve quality for the group home and individuals care needs.
- Oversight of menus.
- Schedule appointments as needed or ordered for individuals and follow through with providers in treatment plan.

- HIgh school diploma; additional education in human services is preferred
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role (preferably in the medical field)
- Ability to work with Microsoft 365
- Any of the following training is preferred, but we will train a strong applicant : First Aid and CPR, DSP Supervisor, and Medication Aid. Candidate will also receive a lot of training within their first 30 days, as well as extensive training in the first 6 months.

Education and Experience Required
Candidates with Direct Support Professional experience or those who have had experience working with individuals who have physical and intellectual disabilities are preferred with this position.
Salary : $20 - $21
