We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Laundry Aides to join our dedicated team at our skilled nursing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and wash resident and facility laundry
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Fold, organize, and return laundry to designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
- Follow infection control procedures and safety standards
- Assist with inventory and supply tracking as needed
Requirements:
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts, including every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Compassion and respect for seniors in a healthcare setting
