Civil West Construction is looking for a high-energy, experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to join a young, aggressive, and growing company. This is not a “show up and collect a paycheck” role. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on heavy civil projects
• Supervise crews, operators, and subcontractors
• Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet schedule and production goals
• Coordinate with project management, owners, inspectors, and suppliers
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to plan specifications
• Track production, manpower, equipment, and material usage
• Identify and solve field issues before they become problems
• Maintain jobsite organization, safety, and professionalism
• Be hands-on when needed — this is a working superintendent role

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the heavy civil industry
• Must have heavy civil experience (underground utilities, excavation, site work, public works, etc.)
• Experience as a logger, carpenter, roofer, or unrelated trade alone will not qualify
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to read plans, schedules, and specifications
• Comfortable working in the field, not just managing from a truck
• Strong work ethic and accountability mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
