SUMMARY:
Maintains communications and technology systems, including radios, remote sensors, small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS), and other electronic systems to ensure operational readiness and reliability to support geographically distributed units and operations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Performs maintenance activities to ensure the functionality of mission-critical equipment. Coordinates with external vendors and manufacturers for equipment warranty repairs and/or maintenance beyond CAP’s capability. Provides technical support to customers. Utilizes various tools and operates material handling equipment as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or certificate in electronic systems, communications technology/maintenance, or related field.
- 2 years of electronics systems maintenance experience.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed property.
- High-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with people at all levels of the organization and across various backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass drug screening and background investigation.
