Position: Project Manager

We have our strong presence in manufacturing, industrial and power & energy sectors. As a Project Manager, you will oversee construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance. Partnering with superintendents, you will manage all aspects of the project to ensure seamless operations and successful outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety leaders to identify and correct hazards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and lead consistent owner’s coordination and reporting meetings
• Establish and maintain the project plan and schedule, setting objectives and performance standards, and monitoring compliance
• Prioritize effective and continuous communication across client representatives, A-E representatives, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Manage financial aspects of the project, including projections, invoice processing, cash flow, profitability, self-perform and subcontractor costs and ensure alignment with the budget while avoiding scope gaps.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Labour Agreements.
• Coordinate and oversee weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Estimate, price, submit, and negotiate accurate subcontracts and change orders.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project aligned with the plan.
• Plan and manage effective project closeout, ensuring an expeditious and quality handover process.

What You'll Bring:

• Highly organized with strong planning and analytic skills, attention to detail and expert attention to detail
• Manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, schedule, cost and financial responsibility.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista software.
• Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil construction is preferred but not required.

Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field or Construction Management is required.
• 7 years of experience in heavy industrial (steel) project management.
