Investment Banking Senior Associate – M&A and Capital Raising
Location: Denver, Colorado
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Associate to join an expanding investment banking team. This key leadership role is integral to running complex M&A and capital raise transactions, managing a team of analysts and associates, and embracing new technologies to enhance productivity and deal execution. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, utilizing modern tools to automate tasks and amplify productivity within a forward-thinking investment banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead M&A and Capital Raise Transactions
- Oversee the entire transaction process from origination to close, ensuring smooth communication and execution across all stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and associates, encouraging a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Manage both local and remote team members.
Technology-Driven Productivity
- Embrace and integrate AI tools such as LLMs and GPTs to streamline workflows, automate complex tasks, and significantly boost efficiency in executing deals.
Execution and Transaction Management
- Take ownership of transaction materials, including pitch decks, marketing documents, financial models, and valuations.
- Ensure top-tier quality and precision in all deliverables.
Strategic Client Advisory
- Provide actionable insights to clients, driven by deep industry research and financial analysis, supporting strategic objectives throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Business Development and Growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop new business opportunities utilizing extensive networks of strategic acquirers, private equity groups, and non-traditional lenders.
Process Optimization
- Leverage a rigorous, model-driven process to ensure focus on high-quality deals while maintaining strong closing rates and exceptional outcomes.
Firm-Building
- Assist in recruiting, cultural initiatives, networking events, and ongoing training efforts.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of investment banking experience with a focus on M&A and capital raising on no fewer than 15 mandates, preferably in middle-market transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and close transactions independently with a client-centric approach.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuations, and transaction material preparation.
- Proven ability to leverage advanced technology such as LLMs and GPTs to enhance productivity and execution efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and delivering best-in-class results.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional designation preferred but not required.
- Active Series 79 & 63 licenses preferred.

Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
