- Superior written and oral communication skills to facilitate regular and effective discussions with insured clients and underwriters across multiple communication platforms.
- Proficiency in underwriting and rating systems across various insurance carriers.
- Strong knowledge of market availability and underwriting guidelines for both standard insurance carriers and surplus lines brokers.
- Proficiency in key software tools, including Excel, AMS360, Microsoft Word, Skype Instant Messenger, Microsoft Outlook, and other workflow and document-sharing programs.
- The ability to make quick, sound decisions while handling high-volume, deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.
- A true passion for client service and providing expert insurance guidance.
- An active Florida 4-40 or 2-20 Insurance License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily client interactions, reviewing policies, answering questions, and offering tailored solutions related to coverage, billing, claims, policy changes, and renewals.
- Upsell and cross-sell insurance products by providing expert advice that helps clients make informed decisions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all client interactions in accordance with agency standards.
- Be adaptable and willing to assist with additional tasks as requested by management.
