What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Events Coordinator position at CIVIC CENTER FOUNDATION?
The Civic Center Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team member to coordinate Private Event activities while enhancing guests experience and ensuring their safety and well-being at the Civic Center Music Hall.
Reports to: Director of Events & Private Events Manager
Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patrons at all times.
- Ensuring the best experience for guests during events.
- Working with other team members to resolve issues as they arise.
- Acting as facility management, presenting a friendly persona to the public while maintaining the policies and procedures of the Civic Center Foundation and its user groups
- Working with outside vendors to ensure safe and timely load-in and load out for Private Events
- Assisting with Public Civic Center events as necessary
- Assisting in design meetings and create floorplans for Private Events
- Maintaining an active Instagram story during events
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills with a positive attitude
- Problem solving skills with a resolution-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work well with limited supervision
- Proficiency in basic computer navigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be excited to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in Corporate Events and Weddings Preferred
- Social Media Marketing experience is a plus!
