About the Position
We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team.
You’ll report to the Plant Manager for our Oldtown, ID location, focusing on these key responsibilities:
- Assist in inventory management of products with month-end count, ordering, shipping and receiving to other plants and non-local customers.
- Organize deliveries.
- Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a professional manner.
- Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders and other account information as needed.
- Perform various clerical functions, including copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.
- Accept and process payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn new programs.
- Recent telephone/receptionist and or customer service experience.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Work in moderate noise levels.
- Work with minimum supervision.
