Construction Senior Project Manager
Multifamily Construction | Saratoga Springs, NY Region
A leading commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale multifamily developments throughout Saratoga Springs and the surrounding Capital Region. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex ground-up residential projects while working with an established builder known for delivering high-quality multifamily communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and financial reporting.
- Direct and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
- Oversee subcontractor bidding, contract negotiations, buyout, and performance management.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permit requirements, and project documentation.
- Participate in preconstruction planning, value engineering, and construction logistics.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding project performance and risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10 years of construction project management experience.
- Strong background managing ground-up multifamily construction projects.
- Experience with wood-frame, podium, wrap, or mixed-use residential developments.
- Proven ability to manage projects valued between $20M and $100M .
- Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and project controls.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

- Multifamily apartment communities.
- Market-rate and luxury residential projects.
- Wood-frame over podium construction.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- OSHA 30 certification.
