CityBus is seeking a Mobility & ADA Specialist to help ensure accessible, equitable mobility throughout our community. This role serves as a key link between Operations and Customer Experience, overseeing ADA compliance, mobility technology, and community mobility programs.
The Mobility & ADA Specialist manages the paratransit eligibility certification process, maintains compliance with federal ADA requirements, and supports CityBus’ account-based fare technology platform. This position also assists riders and partner agencies with fare account needs and ensures staff and operators are properly trained and confident in providing customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage ADA Compliance & Paratransit Eligibility: Oversee the ADA certification process, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide training and guidance on accessibility standards.
Oversee Fare Technology & Rider Support: Manage the fare technology platform, assist riders and partner agencies with accounts, and train staff on fare policies and tools.
Coordinate Mobility Programs: Support integration across fixed-route, paratransit, and microtransit services while identifying opportunities to improve equitable mobility.
Reporting, Communication & Outreach: Produce performance reports, maintain strong communication across departments, and represent CityBus in community mobility efforts.
Education, Licensing, and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Urban Studies, Public Administration, Transportation, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience related to transportation operations, customer experience, or mobility management.
- Must meet motor vehicle license, drug screen, and criminal background standards established by the agency.
