Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Richmond, VA. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and monitoring budgets. Responsibilities also include assisting with financial audits, tax compliance, and ensuring that all financial processes align with company policies and regulatory standards. The Accountant will provide valuable insights to the management team by generating timely reports and identifying areas for financial improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
- Experience in preparing financial reports, maintaining budgets, and conducting financial analysis
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in property management or facility services accounting is a plus
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly desirable
