This role reports directly to our customer site in New Holland, PA. Living nearby is a plus, but not required.
What We're Looking For:
- A reliable professional who can work a consistent 11:00am–7:00pm schedule, with occasional morning or evening shifts when needed
- Someone who can oversee day porters and evening porters to ensure quality standards are met
- A “working supervisor” mindset — willing to jump in, clean when needed, and support floor work
- Strong problem-solving and light handyman abilities
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (we’ll help)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cleaning operations and support staff
- Manage consumables/supply control
- Perform weekly safety inspections (including eye wash stations)
- Replace or repair lighting and ensure emergency exit signage is operational
- High-dusting tasks using lifts
- Maintain and refresh facility items such as shower curtains and countertop coatings
- Support additional facility needs as they arise
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- 3 years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations. Commercial janitorial services industry experience preferred.
- Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook/Task Manager
- CRM experience a plus!
