Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across vehicle electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and more
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on diverse vehicle systems, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel), transmission system repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision
- Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks
- Assist in auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and communicating findings clearly to customers or service advisors
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure vehicles are returned in optimal condition
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair for a minimum of 3 years.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with powertrain components, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle suspension system repair
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the use of automotive diagnostic tools
- Mechanical aptitude complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for complex repairs

- Compensation - $27/hour to $33/hour, depending on experience

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
