Job description
City Ranked is looking for a Marketing Account Manager to help lead digital marketing efforts with our client's growth in mind. The right candidate for this position is someone with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, who is passionate about helping major national brands and local companies get the most from their digital marketing. A Marketing Account Manager at City Ranked is enthusiastic about client relationships and leading companies into new marketing strategies backed by data-driven decisions. Our Account Management team works directly with our clients to strategize solutions for lead generation, conversion rate optimization, customer engagement, long-term customer retention, and overall business growth, then develops plans and timelines to implement those strategies internally.
The Marketing Account Manager is the liaison between the client and the talented creative team at City Ranked. This person would work closely with the team of Project Managers and our creative team to perfect their client's marketing strategies through effective content, web development, automation, and paid search marketing with the goal of increasing revenue for their clients.

What does the job entail?
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with our partner clients, ranging from major national brands to local service businesses looking for growth.
- Strategize digital marketing tactics to drive growth for clients, clearly communicating strategies and intended objectives to the Project Management team for execution.
- Partner with clients to develop an actionalbe digital marketing plan to ensure City Ranked objectives match clients' overarching goals to achieve revenue growth.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, clearly communicating strategies, team successes, product value, return on investment, and preventing/resolving issues as they arise.
- Collect and analyze marketing data for insights into consumer behavior, drawing conclusions and leveraging trends that equate to growth.
- Stay on the cusp of industry trends, both in Digital Marketing, and industries relevant to our partner clients.
Requirements:
- A drive for results and a passion for client growth.
- Solid digital marketing experience. Ability to identify digital performance opportunities, strategize and implement action plans and solutions based on key performance indicators.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Proven experience in cultivating long-term partnerships with major national brands. Ability to coordinate with a brand's marketing department, identifying pain points, and providing solutions that address all stakeholder needs.
- Desire to understand the depths of a partner's industry, business, objectives, and culture, and utilize internal tools to drive their success.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with an ability to define and communicate marketing strategies and give recommendations in easy-to-understand terms to clients and internal teams.
- Current with industry trends and best practices for strategizing and leveraging digital strategies.
- Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize them appropriately.
