Tree Trimmer that will help shape the safety, beauty, and livability of our city. Every day brings opportunities to trim, plant, and remove trees, operate both light and heavy equipment, and ensure safe conditions for pedestrians and crew members alike.
Youll play a key part in responding to emergency after-hours calls, stepping up as a crew leader during critical events, and supporting the city during special projects and national disaster responses.
Youll also help keep our equipment operating at its best and collaborate with other departments to keep our parks, roadways, and public spaces looking their finest.

- Maintaining trees by removing dead and hazardous limbs; pruning and raising limbs over walk ways
- Removing trees and plants deemed hazardous
- Utilizing machinery, hand tools, vehicles and ropes during tree and plant maintenance and removal
- Assisting other departments
- Maintaining equipment by assisting performs preventative maintenance
