What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk Treasurer position at City Of Whitehall?
The City of Whitehall is accepting applications from qualified applicants for a Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.
Position duties include customer service, utility billing, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax collection, election administration, and records management.
The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail in regard to clerical and accounting work, be proficient in using Microsoft Office programs, and be able to learn computer operations for payroll and utility billing. He or she must have strong communication and public relations skills. A degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.
The position includes a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, Wisconsin Retirement Plan, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Salary dependent on qualifications.
