The City's Parks and Recreation team is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Gym & Fitness Attendant to help ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the gymnasium and fitness areas. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor gymnasium and fitness areas to ensure safe and appropriate use of equipment and facilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer questions, concerns, and service needs
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of fitness equipment and facility spaces
- Ensure areas are properly stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with daily operational tasks to support efficient facility operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned

This is a part-time position not to exceed an average of 29 hours per week.

Job Qualifications - Education, experience and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.
- Minimum 16 years of age.
- Prior relevant experience desired.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of hire date.

- Proficiency in the use of basic business software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, presentations) and basic office equipment.
- Ability to work under little supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential job duty. Job requires being reliable, responsible and dependable.
