JOB REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this position is to serve as the Wausau
Fire Department\'s EMS Director and assume responsibility for planning,
coordinating, evaluating EMS operations and compliance. Subject matter
expert for EMS and ambulance billing. The Division Chief- EMS is
responsible for administering and performing professional level work in
planning, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and overseeing the
operations of emergency medical care while ensuring compliance with
applicable statutes and administrative rules. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a minimum of five
years of full-time firefighting and or EMS experience supplemented by an
associate\'s degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, Business
Administration, regionally accredited institution in Emergency Medical
Services, or related field. Consideration will be given to persons with
a combination of education and experience which demonstrates an equal
