Job Summary

Counselors play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for campers while leading daily activities, building connections, and serving as positive role models throughout the summer. Camp Dates: June 1st to July 31st Hiring Deadline: Must be hired by May 15 to attend required camp trainings
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and facilitating age-appropriate arts projects.
- Monitor and engage with campers to ensure their safety, participation, and enjoyment.
- Support and inspire campers in their artistic expression and projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first aid if necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
- Must be able to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior childcare or camp experience preferred but not required.
- A background or strong interest in visual arts and creative projects.
- Strong communication skills, a team-centric mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to various activities and the changing needs of the camp.
Special Opportunity - Inclusion Counselors: Inclusion Counselors support campers with special needs and receive a $1.50 per hour shift premium for hours worked in Inclusion Support.

Candidates must be hired by May 15 to attend required Camp Trainings scheduled for May 21-22 or May 26-30. CPR training will take place on additional dates to be determined.
