What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance II position at City of Springdale, AR?
The incumbent is responsible to operate various heavy equipment machines in conjunction with City projects.

- Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers; maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of their own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.
- Operate a tractor.
- Operate a roller.
- Operate a broom.
- Operate a dump truck.
- Perform maintenance and servicing of truck when needed.
- Operate all other departmental maintenance equipment.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to acquire a CDL within 6 months of initial hire date.
- Obtain necessary IMSA Work Zone certification(s) within 6 months of initial hire date.
- Must be proficient in the use of a dump truck, roller, broom, and tractor.
- Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects.
- Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.
Salary : $35,356 - $53,034
