What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Dental Assistant position at City of Sioux Falls?
The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is accepting applications for a part-time Dental Assistant for the Dental Clinic at Falls Community Health. This position is a maximum of 28 hours per week, M-F, with flexible schedule based on the clinic needs.
Dental Assistant will assist dentist and hygienists in providing dental care, treatment of patients and front desk tasks. Perform duties in the fields of chair-side assisting, reception, infection control, inventory, and records.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduation from an approved school for dental assisting, or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. Must possess South Dakota dental assistant license and valid radiology and nitrous oxide licenses within six (6) months of hire.
