SuperSitter Instructor

The SuperSitter Babysitting Clinic is offered to both beginning and experienced baby sitters. The instructor is expected to teach the basics of child care, how to handle an emergency or illness, first aid, sitter safety, crafts, kid proofing, toys, nutrition and more in order to prepare participants for babysitting work.

An instructor manual is provided outlining the basic course content. Presenting the material in a way that will engage the participants is important.

·         Teach the skills needed for safe care of infants and children.

·         Educate and motivate participants.

·         Start and end classes on time.

·         Experience working with children preferred.

·         Previous babysitting experience preferred.

·         CPR and basic first aid certifications preferred.

·         Must be at least 16 years old

Hours:                 Weekends—Flexible schedule. Classes run 4 hours
(weekday hours available during the summer)
Wage:                  $13.00– 16.00 per hour depending on experience
