The City of Seward is seeking its next Assistant Library Director due to internal promotion. The Assistant Director will serve as operations manager, ensuring efficient administration of facilities, technology, staff development, procedures, and daily services while supporting implementation of the library’s strategic vision and community service goals. Primary functions include administrative, clerical, technology services, circulation, public programs, and personnel management responsibilities. The Assistant Director will be a highly visible employee; therefore, customer service skills are a must. Physical requirements. Valid driver’s license required.
