- 2025 $85,048
- 2026 $88,025

LOCATION: City of Saratoga Springs – Mayor’s Office – Planning Department
RESIDENCY: No residency requirement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Open Competitive:
- Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master’s Degree in Planning, Urban Geography, Architecture, Public Policy, Geographic Information Systems, Public Administration, Economics or a related field and three (3) years of full time paid related experience; OR
- Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Geography, Architecture, Public Policy, Geographic Information Systems, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of full time paid progressively responsible related experience at a level indicating command of the planning discipline; OR Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and eight (8) years of full time paid progressively responsible related experience at a level indicating command of the planning discipline.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Applicants with American Institute of Certified Planners certification are desired.
