HCFR - Trades Worker

General Job Description

Requires warehouse work consisting of operating a grounds maintenance equipment; consisting of but not limited to lawn mowers, weed eaters, stick edger, blowers. Loading and unloading equipment onto trucks and trailers, attaching trailers to trucks. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Report to Fire Captain/ Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Officer.

Duties for this Position

• Ability to operate all grounds maintenance related equipment
• Ability to operate vehicles
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Ability to give and interpret oral and written directions
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to accomplish minor equipment repair
• Ability to complete operational forms and work records
• Ability to work with Computers
• Good Attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Reports directly to the Fire Captain/ Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Officer.
  
  

Additional Information

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, (CDL preferred).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical & drug screen.
