- Performs routine grounds maintenance including lawn mowing, weed whipping, grave repair, lawn repair, maintaining landscape, pruning trees and shrubs, and trash removal.
- Assists with tree removal, branch clearing and chipper operations.
- Assists with funeral preparations.
- Mixes cement and installs burial markers.
- Assists with installing headstones.
- Assists with digging foundations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- State of Michigan drivers license with acceptable driving record.
- Basic proficiency with office computers and related software.
- Previous experience with grounds maintenance or light equipment operation preferred.

- Work is performed at city buildings and outside.
- Exposures include working around moving mechanical parts.
- Worker is exposed to seasonal extreme outside weather conditions.
