Duties
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Conduct routine inspections of treatment facilities, ensuring all systems function efficiently and safely.
- Perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Collect, analyze, and record data related to water quality parameters, flow rates, and system performance for regulatory compliance.
- Manage heavy equipment operation for tasks such as tankers, sludge removal, or construction activities related to plant upgrades.
- Assist with water treatment processes by adjusting chemical feeds, troubleshooting plumbing issues, and performing heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support construction projects or facility upgrades by collaborating with maintenance teams on installation or repair tasks.
