What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water and Wastewater Supervisor position at City of Primera?
The Water and Wastewater Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, repair, and regulatory compliance of the City’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The incumbent supervises assigned public works personnel, ensures compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations, and performs some skilled technical work in maintaining roads, landscaping, building maintenance & utility infrastructure. Work is performed under general supervision of the Public Works Director and is evaluated based on system reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Required to hold and maintain a TCEQ Water Operator License Class “C” or higher and Wastewater Operator License Class “C” or higher.
