SUMMARY: This is the advanced level of building and grounds maintenance. Positions at this level are distinguished from other job classifications of this type by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. Work in this class requires leadership and participation in a variety of maintenance work related to the assigned area. Assignments also may include the occasional operation of trucks and other automotive or construction equipment incidental to regular duties. Although some assignments may be carried out under general supervision of a crew leader who issues general or specific orders depending on the assignment.
